Fix the house; stop putting off all those much needed repairs, hire someone and get the job done. You will feel better if the electrical wiring that worries you is finally repaired! Take care of something now that prevents greater expenses later.
Upgrade! If you have been thinking about re-doing the bathroom or kitchen, then do it. Build that fence and enclose the backyard. Put in a pool and/or a putt-putt course. Make your back yard a place where exercising takes place.
